Experience Lake Life, Gorges, Wineries, Breweries & Artisanal restaurants. Or stay put to enjoy our swimming pond, wildflower meadow trails or star gaze around the fire pit.

Hector is quiet, with a sky full of stars at night and gorgeous nature by day. It is close to both Seneca and Cayuga Wine trails, Watkins Glen State Park, Watkins Glen International racetrack, the world famous Corning Glass Museum, and dozens of wineries, cafes, and brew pubs. We hope you enjoy escaping to, relaxing, and exploring this unique and peaceful place as much as we do!
Carriage House guests have access to the main house with fire pit & picnic table, and share access to 15 acres of meadow & wildlife ponds.

A unique 1887 reconstructed carriage house sleeps 8 in bedrooms with a/c and high quality memory foam mattresses, All-Clad cookware, shuffleboard and games to enjoy around the gas fireplace.

Summary: It was a perfect location.. love the house. The only draw back was the internet connection was not strong... but we were out celebrating, wine tasting and visiting family and friends most of the time anyway.

Summary: I stayed here with my family, six adults and two children. We had plenty of space! The property is AMAZING! We loved the outside picnic area and fire pit. Tons of space for the kids to enjoy. It is completely centrally located for hitting Watkins Glen and Ithaca, plus close to taughnnocan falls and wineries/breweries! Our favorite was Scale House-Just 4 minutes away and Hector Wine Company just 7 minutes away. The only flaw was that it does not have central air (my fault for not checking) and it was HOT when we checked in, but two of the upstairs bedrooms have window units and can cool the entire place down if you leave the doors open. Hana was easy to get in touch with, the no key lock in the door makes coming and going so easy, and the property is awesome! Highly recommend and would stay again!
